Fire Risk Assessments

Our assessments offer tailored risk solutions aimed at mitigating complex risks. While achieving complete elimination is often impractical, our recommendations provide valuable guidance for managing and mitigating identified hazards based on the final assessment.

Fire protection and detection systems are essential for preventing losses and safeguarding assets. Our comprehensive risk surveys delve deep into identifying and analysing potential risk exposures related to property damage and business interruption. Our reports include specific recommendations for loss prevention, helping reduce the overall Level of Risk (LoR) organisations may face during fire-related events.

Throughout the report we propose cost-effective risk response methodologies that adhere to National Building Regulations (NBR) and Local Authority By-Laws. We prioritise the implementation of the most appropriate and feasible measures to mitigate identified risks.

We collaborate extensively with industry specialists, including ECSA registered fire engineers and other fire industry experts, before presenting our findings to clients and insurance companies.

Additionally, we determine the Maximum Probable Loss (MPL) through the analysis of various loss scenarios. This process involves calculating a realistic and likely MPL, aiding insurers in understanding the risk and making informed underwriting decisions.

Enterprise Risk Management

At Credelex, we take a comprehensive, enterprise-wide approach to risk management. Our ERM services go beyond addressing individual risks in silos - we work closely with your organisation to integrate risk management into your overall business strategy and decision-making processes.

We apply the principles outlined in ISO 31 000 Risk Management to systematically identify, assess, treat, and monitor risks associated with enterprise-wide operations and activities. This involves conducting an in-depth analysis of the organisation's risk landscape, identifying potential threats, vulnerabilities, and opportunities, and quantifying risk exposure and impact across all facets of the business.

Through our ERM offerings, we'll help you:

  • Establish a robust risk governance structure and reporting processes

  • Identify, assess, and prioritise risks across your entire enterprise

  • Develop integrated risk mitigation and contingency plans

  • Align your risk management objectives with your strategic business goals

  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management

By implementing a holistic ERM framework, we'll empower your organisation to make more informed, risk-intelligent decisions that drive sustainable growth and success.

Insurance Risk Assessments

As companies grapple with soaring inflation and constrained supply chains, a "hardening market" has emerged, characterised by rising premiums, stricter insurance risk requirements, and limited coverage availability. In response, insurers are scrutinising high-risk sectors more closely and tightening their risk tolerances.Concerns over rising fire-related claims have prompted insurers to hike premiums and impose stricter risk requirements for all risks associated with such hazardous materials.

Sectors experiencing an increase in fire-related incidents, particularly those involving combustible building materials like Thatch, Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP) or Expandable Polystyrene (EPS), are under heightened scrutiny from underwriters.

Credelex demonstrates a profound understanding of complex risk landscapes, allowing us to provide comprehensive and accurate assessments. We excel at identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities, quantifying risk exposure, and recommending practical risk mitigation strategies that align with regulatory requirements.
